Milwaukee, WI l Panic! At The Disco
The end of July I went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then to Chicago, Illinois. It was probably the most exciting time of my life. I have never traveled out of state without my family and my friend, Sydnee, and myself traveled about 6 hours away from everyone we know. It was extremely exciting. I really enjoyed being on my own, fending for myself.
On our first night in Milwaukee, Monday Night, we scoped out the area. Sydnee had been to Milwaukee before but that was when she was young, but she still knew the area. We stayed in northern part of Milwaukee and there was an adorable outdoor mall. It was the coolest thing ever. We went over there to check out the mall and see what they had because we knew the next day we would want to go back and purchase a ton of new items. We both love shopping so during this trip we did a lot of it.
Anyways, while we were checking out the mall we decided it would be fun to go out to each at a semi-tansy restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. It was way more fancy than i was expecting. The architecture was gorgeous and the food was so good. It was the first time I had ever been there before and I will defiantly be going back the next time we feel like going somewhere fancy.
After we went out to eat we went back to the hotel to just chill and get it all tidied up.
The next morning, Tuesday, we decided to go into down town Milwaukee, well I don't know if it is actually is downtown Milwaukee but it had a lot of tall buildings and very city atmosphere. I could definitely live in a city someday later on.
Going into the city we really didn't know what we wanted to do besides go to this yummy cupcake parlor. We decided to just walk the seats and look at the boutiques. Some of the boutiques we extremely pricey, a dress you could by at a place like Charlotte Ruse cost nearly ninety dollars. It was ridiculous. We practically ran out of there. Because there wasn't much success in the city we found our way back to the cupcake parlor. I actually knew where we were going, I am normally horrible with directions.
The cupcake parlor was in this stigmal but it was adorable. It was very girly and pretty. Right when we walked in we saw lines of cupcakes. They looked so delicious and I wish I could have tried them all. They were two dollars a piece so we each got six, which lasted us the rest of our trip.

Since tonight was the night of out concert and I had nothing to wear we went to another mall just outside the city because I really wanted an outfit from Maurice's. I found the most adorable Kimono and pair of wedges I just had to have. I paired it with a pair of crop jeans and a black v-neck t-shirt, a spiky gold and black necklace and a headband around my head. It was adorable! Sydnee wore a pink crop top, high waisted jeans and black heals she got from Maurice's.
Panic! At The Disco was amazing in concert! I am dead serious. I have been to a bunch of concerts within the past year and they were by far the best. I heard new songs I hadn't heard before and fell in love with them. But not only did I fall in love with the music all over again, I fell in love with Brendon Urie. Ahhh!! If you don't know who he is... well then where the hell have you been!?!?!?!
It was crazy hot in the arena and people below us in the mosh pit were crowd surfing to get out! It was so worth it! Sydnee almost made us leave!
There were two longs that I loved loved loved hearing live and those were: Miss Jackson and I write sins not tragedies! I know all the words to those songs as well as everyone else. It was just an awesome moment having us all sing with them. It was like we were all a big family.
After the concert we again went back to our hotel room and chilled out watching some American Horror Story because it is the best show on TV right now. Just my opinion. We went to bed really late and had to get up early in the morning to go out for breakfast and then travel down to Chicago. We didn't plan very well because we still had to pack up all of our stuff, which was a hassle. Because we had everything all over the place. It wasn't all over the place it was just hanging in the closet as well as in the dresser.
I have decided to split this trip into two different posts because it is already getting long! So The second part of my trip will be up soon!
